InErGa

Issue No. II Conference for Interactive Storytelling in Games Leipzig 2026

About the event

27–28 November 2026 · Hochschule Macromedia, Leipzig

InErGa is the first conference for interactive storytelling in games in the German-speaking region. It grew out of a passion for narrative game design and interactive stories.

With a varied programme of talks and workshops, the event is aimed at narrative designers, games writers and everyone who tells stories in interactive media.

The focus is on professional exchange, developing our craft together, and engaging with where interactive storytelling stands today and where it is heading.

After a successful premiere in 2025, InErGa 2026 will be a two-day event for the first time. In cooperation with R42, the first conference day winds down with a joint evening event at Leipzig's newly opened gaming ecosystem – a chance to network, exchange ideas and get to know each other in a relaxed setting.
